Chris Smith PhD - Director, Resource Geoscience (Founding Director)

Chris Smith has twenty years geoscience experience with both service sector and independent oil and gas companies. He started his career in 1981 as an interpretation geophysicist with Horizon Exploration and then worked for Kerr McGee and ARCO British Limited between 1985 and 1992, at which time he became a Consultant Geophysicist working on a wide range of assignments. In a recent assignment with Kerr-McGee, he was responsible for a number of projects requiring the application of geophysical methods for delineation of marginal fields, which is of particular relevance to Eclipse Energy's business model. In Eclipse Energy he is Resource Geoscience Director responsible for geoscience in connection with reserve evaluation and for monitoring performance of reservoirs in production.
